What is the best way to travel from the airport to hotels/Monmouth University?
The most economical way is to take New Jersey Transit from the Newark Liberty Airport station, which offers train service to and from the Jersey Shore. The closest stations are Long Branch and Little Silver. Cabs are available for hire at the stations that can be taken to your hotel of choice or the University.
You can also travel via cab or Uber/Lyft to and from the airport or the train stations.
EF4Fest will have a shuttle service that runs several times daily from our hotel partners to the campus. Please check back for that schedule closer to the event.
What parking options are available at the University and Springsteen Center?
There is plenty of free parking available on and around the campus.
For those not driving, as mentioned above, we will have a shuttle that runs several times daily from our hotel partners to the campus.
When I arrive at the University, where do I go to register for the event?
Please head to the Springsteen Center on Thursday from 5-9 PM (or Pozycki Hall on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning at 8 AM) to either check in and receive your badge/wristband or to purchase your ticket for the event. A full map of the University and directions can be found here.
What time does EF4F start and how long does it run each day?
The festival runs:
Thursday, Nov. 5th: 5 PM – 10 PM ET
Friday, Nov. 6th: 9 AM – 10 PM ET
Saturday, Nov. 7th: 9 AM – 10 PM ET
Sunday, Nov. 8th: 9 AM – 12 NOON PM ET
Does my ticket include admission to the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music?
Time will be allotted for Fest attendees to visit the Center, and parts of our event will be held in the Center’s state-of-the-art Powell Soundstage. For more information about the Center, you can visit their website here.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Only single-day tickets can be purchased at the door, and the rate will be higher per day than purchasing a weekend pass. Note that only weekend passholders are guaranteed a seat at the evening concerts, but there will be some standing room available.
Will special guests be signing and/or selling items?
Certain festival guests may sign and sell merchandise. Please check the website closer to the event for the full schedule.
We will also have select vendors selling books and merchandise related to the event.
What restaurant options are available at the University and surrounding area?
We are pleased to say that a continental breakfast and a lunch will be provided each day with the purchase of your pass to EF4Fest! Special dietary needs will be accepted and accommodated.
For those looking to explore the Jersey Shore while in town, there are many other wonderful local dining options available as well.
